Runaway Pumpkin Half Marathon's early discount ends Monday
LEBANON — The Runaway Pumpkin Half Marathon scheduled for Oct. 18 has an early registration discount ending next week.
Participants who register before Monday will get in with a $55 rate. The cost then goes up to $65.
Registration for the 13.1-mile race and walk is being held entirely online at .runawaypumpkinhalf. The website also includes more details on the event.
The half-marathon begins on that Saturday at Lebanon’s Cheadle Park. All proceeds go toward the support of ABC House’s efforts to stop child abuse and neglect.
Race registrants receive T-shirts, unique finishers’ medals and a “swag bag” filled with free items. Runners and walkers are encouraged to e dressed in Halloween
costumes with prizes given out.
This year, the race offers “virtual runner” — a twist for supporters who cannot run or walk the 13.1 miles. The option allows non-running participants interested in
